Time magazine’s choice of Angela Merkel as 2015’s Person of the Year has provoked a good deal of consternation from people who thought it ought to have been Donald Trump, with none more agitated than Donald Trump himself. Do you agree with Time magazine’s choice of Merkel or do you think they should have picked Trump? Overall, do you like or dislike Trump?
“It’s not the worst choice they could have made.”
“Trump does not deserve the award. Hillary Clinton would be a better choice. She is now picking out drapes for the White House! Thanks to Trump and Trey Gowdy, Hillary will be our next president. Can you say madam president. Let me hear you say it. If you can’t say it now, you’ll have plenty of time to practice saying it. She won’t take over as president until Jan. 20 of 2017.”
“It would have been awful for Time to have picked Donald Trump. Trump represents bigotry, discrimination, prejudice, vulgarity, disrespect for woman, etc. The world is disgusted with the U.S. for even entertaining him as a possible presidential candidate. He is an awful human being. There will be a Democratic president and a Democratic Congress. Then we can move forward as a united nation.”
“I bet the Democratic progressive liberals are upset that the most corrupt person to ever run president is not on the cover. But maybe if the FBI is allowed to do its job, she will get her picture taken in a prison jump suit.”
“Time made Hitler man of the year once. So Trump would be in perfect company with him. Those two have a lot in common.”
“Whether you like him or not, you have to admit the guy makes news. Everyone wants to hear what he has to next, including Democrats and Republicans. He’s changed things overnight.”
