Interested in working in a fun, caring, nurturing environment that rewards performance?
If so, then TeleTech, a global leader specializing in personalizing business communications, may be interested in you.
“We’re looking to hire hundreds,” said Denise Kaydo, a talent acquisition specialist atTeleTech-Uniontown ‘s call center which is specifically seeking to staff for its newest client, Intuit TurboTax, in preparation for the 2016 season.
“We’re excited for the rapid growth in our company as we welcome in a new client in our Uniontown site,” said Daniel Sarco, a marketing and communications specialist from the company’s US-based headquarters in Colorado. “This means that new positions are available and exciting new pay rates are now offered.”
Upon hire, new Intuit customer service/technical support representatives are provided paid training, earn up to $11.70 hourly, and may be eligible for refer-a-friend incentive bonuses of $750 and up, said Kaydo.
Whether you’re retired or a student just looking to make some additional income, or a landscaper struggling though the off season or someone about to be laid off when the holiday retail season comes to a close, TeleTech may have a spot for you on their new team — and it’s not too early to apply.
“You’ve got to get in right now,” said Kaydo of the hiring and training processes that must first be completed.
“We’re a melting pot here,” she added of TeleTech’s diverse workforce that consists of both young and old from all social and ethnic backgrounds. “Sometimes we have older people come in looking for work, and they may be intimated by the technology because they’ve worked in a nursing home all their lives. But I tell them, ‘hunny, you’re a caring person, you’re exactly what we’re looking for — and we will train you’.”
“We have a unique set up; you can be here for a job or for a career,” said Site Lead John Nordlund. “We’re always looking for that mix of talent, and the younger folks are valuable, too. They can bring fresh blood to existing projects.”
Applicants seeking to join the Intuit team must be at least 17 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to undergo a seven-year background check.
According to Sarco, TeleTech wants you to: have fun; stay connected, share your passion; be healthy; build financial freedom; cultivate your career; make money; take time for yourself; and experience the culture of sharing.
Both Wes Weber and Richard Spano have been with the company for about a year and-a-half.
“It’s a great way to get technical experience and I enjoy the work environment,” Weber said.
“The job is not bad,” added Spano of processing inbound-only calls for service and technical support. “The people are fun and it’s an enjoyable environment.”
