Pedestrian hit

A driver and pedestrian were both injured when a car driven by Karen Sadler, 50, of Greensboro hit a parked vehicle on Dora Village Main, Sunday evening, police said. Sadler and pedestrian William Bellis, 48, of Dilliner both suffered minor injuries, police said.

Criminal mischief

State police said an unnamed 47-year-old Franklin Township man damaged a mailbox on Sy Huffman Hill Road on Friday evening and fled the scene.

Kim Davey-McCollum reported someone broke two windows of her vehicle and damaged the door overnight Sunday.

State police said an unnamed Rices Landing woman hit multiple mailboxes near her residence and then drove to Jefferson under the influence of alcohol Wednesday.

Police received reports Saturday that an older woman was knocking on doors on Lawn Avenue asking for money.

Juan Curry reported Saturday a stove valued at $400 was missing from his rental property at 36 Carlisle St.

Assault

Sonny Ashton, 36, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault after he allegedly assaulted a woman at her house on Coolspring Street on Saturday. She told police she asked him to leave multiple times before he assaulted her. Police said they saw a broken window and items tipped over or broken. Police said she had a swollen eye, blood coming from her mouth and complained about abdominal pain from allegedly being kicked in the stomach. She was transported to Uniontown Hospital, where staff told police she may have a broken orbital bone.

Vehicle stolen

David Mayfield reported Monday that his vehicle was stolen. He said he loaned it to a friend to drive to Harrisburg, but had not heard from the friend since Saturday morning.

Home ransacked

Police are investigating a burglary that left the residence at 11 Farragut St. “completely trashed” Friday. A 32-inch flat screen TV was reported missing. Police said a window was broken, ketchup and mustard were “all over the floors,” broken glass was “everywhere” bleach was dumped on bedding and clothing, a fish tank was knocked over, and multiple holes were in the walls. Police did not report the name of the person who lives there.
