Jewelry stolen
A gold necklace and a gold half earring owned by Shirley Ann Cagnina was reported stolen from her North 12th Street home at 4 p.m. Dec. 10, state police said.

Retail theft
Charges were filed against Allen Russell Hall, 36, of Uniontown for allegedly removing a security tag from a pair of boots at Rural King on Route 119 and exchanging them for store credit at 2:32 p.m. Dec. 12, state police said.

Theft reported
Change and a power converter were stolen from a vehicle owned by Elizabeth June Means of Uniontown at 732 Penn Ave. at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 25, state police said.

Charges filed
Borough police said they filed false identification, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic citations against Robert Franklin Glover, 26, of Grindstone following a traffic stop at Pennsylvania Avenue and Park Street at 8:23 p.m. Nov. 21. Police said they found used syringes and smoking pipes in his vehicle.

Investigation continues
Borough police said they and state police are still investigating an accident in which Kerri G. Gill, 80, of Brownsville was found lying on the street and flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh following an accident on Edward Street at 7:50 p.m. Nov. 14. Police said Gill’s vehicle struck a hillside along Edward Street and went down a steep slope to California Road, where he was found. Gill remains in critical condition in the hospital.
