Allenah DeLara Applause
The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce has honored Allenah DeLara of Uniontown, a junior at Uniontown Area Senior High, as a student of the month for October.
A daughter of Tracey Foreman and Charles DeLara, she plans to attend medical school with the career goal of becoming a pediatric oncologist.
DeLara is a member of the Penn State 4.0 Club.
She is active in extracurricular activities at Uniontown Area Senior High, including cross country, track, student council where she is president, Academic League and Spanish club.
Elected by their schools based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and citizenship, students of the month are honored by the chamber’s education council. They will be presented a recognition certificate at the students of the month dinner in April.
