Retail theft
Devon Thomas, 23, of York was charged for allegedly stealing two Pop-Tarts from Kwik Fill Dec. 1.

Theft reported
State police said Kimberly Dugan, 51, and Lorraine Tate, 47, both of Uniontown, pawned stolen jewelry belonging to Janet Lyons of Uniontown the day her house was burglarized by another suspect Aug. 8. Kathryn’s Jewelry in Connellsville paid $1,000 for the jewelry, police said. The jewelry was seized and Tate and Dugan were charged with theft and receiving stolen property Tuesday.

Identity theft
Megan Maturo, 19, of Pittsburgh was charged with identity theft and false identification to law enforcement for allegedly showing police an identification card that did not belong to her Nov. 30.

Burglary
John Wayne Laws Jr., 20, of Dunbar and a 17-year-old boy were charged for allegedly breaking into Kountry Klub Convenience Store on Dec. 7. Police said one was wearing a hockey mask and carrying a crowbar. Police said the suspects encountered a witness as they were leaving and were startled, dropping cigarettes as they ran. Police allegedly found one suspect walking along a road and another hiding in a horse pen, both with illegal drugs and stolen cigarettes. More than $1,000 in tobacco products was stolen, police said.

A 69-year-old Melcroft man reported someone stole tools from his Hillview Lane residence between Dec. 4 and 7.

Police said a picket fence at First National Bank on National Pike was damaged between Dec. 3 and 4.

Cindy Lou Frazier, 35, of Uniontown was charged for allegedly stealing from Dollar General on Dec. 22.

Harrassment
A 30-year-old Pittsburgh man allegedly went into a 23-year-old Scottdale woman’s place of work on Memorial Boulevard and asked her to have sex with him. He allegedly left and then went slowly around the building, then went inside again and stared at her before he was asked to leave Nov. 9. Police did not identify the victim or the suspect.

Police said someone tried to steal a video game control from Walmart on Dec. 22.
CARMICHAELS
Access device fraud
State police said someone cloned an ATM card belonging to Dana Rose of Carmichaels and used it to make purchases Nov. 19.

Mindy Post, 21, of Avella and Debra Ransom, 37, of Washington were charged for allegedly stole toys from a Toys for Tots collection box at FMC Technologies where they were contracted to clean Dec. 16. Police said the toys were valued at $130.

Sharon Snyder, 54, of Waynesburg reported someone stole a Moultrie Trail Camera from her home on Nice Street between Nov. 1 and Dec. 5.
