Donation jar stolen
Uniontown police seek the public’s help to identify a man who stole a donation jar Friday from the front counter at the A-Plus Mini Mart on Morgantown Street. Police said the man walked into the store around 12:30 a.m. and took the jar that belonged to the Fayette Friends of Animals. Police said the man left the store and entered an older dark blue Dodge Neon with a lot of mud on it. A possible partial license plate said JKD. Police said anyone with information about the man will be kept anonymous and to contact police at 724-430-2929 or Crime Stoppers.

State police said Tiffany Marie Schoch, 19, and Ian Christopher Praster, 25, of Brownsville were cited for disorderly conduct after a disturbance Sunday on Clover Street.

State police said Rachael L. Price, 42, and Ronald L. Price, 59, both of Allison, were cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an argument Saturday at the Kwik-Fil Gas Station on Duck Hollow Road.

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by Edward G. Bryner of Uniontown and Brandon R. Swaney of Smithfield collided Friday at the intersection of Memorial Boulevard and East Crawford Avenue.

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by Melvin E. Dewitt of Vanderbilt and Janice E. Maruniak of Uniontown collided Thursday on McClellandtown Road near Daniel Drive.

Manhole cover stolen
State police said Jonathan Switch, 22, and Jarrett Tressler, 23, no addresses provided, were charged with theft and receiving stolen property after Menallen Township reported a manhole cover missing Jan. 12 by Mill Street and Searights Herbert Road.

State police said Meghan Halfhill of Lyons Road reported that someone took out three credit cards in her name that she didn’t apply for between October and January.

State police said Zachary R. Webster of Ohiopyle sustained minor injuries after his vehicle overturned when it crashed into an embankment Jan. 12 on Nelson Road near Sleepy Hollow Road.

California police said Ashley Brooke Bartell, 21, of Saxonburg was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after an incident Thursday on Ash Street.

California police said Susan Wagner, 54, of Coal Center was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and several traffic violations after she ran a police cruiser off the road Jan. 9 near California Road.
