Nighttime breakfast offers open mic spots to student body

Students interested in signing up for the open mic portion of the event can sign up online on myConnect or stop in to Student Services on the third floor of the Stover Campus Center.

The only requirement is that the act remains in line with the university mission statement.

There is no need to sign up if you do not want to perform but would like to attend.

“The only reason we ask for students to register is so we know what sound equipment is needed,” said Bristor. “It wouldn’t make sense to have all the equipment set up if no one uses it.”

“We encourage people to come out for fellowship and to have a good time,” said Bristor.

Amber Lambing, a sophomore secondary English education major, plans on participating in the open mic again after having a good time at it last year.

“This will be a fun morning-at-night activity,” said Kellner.

“It provides the students an opportunity to hang out and get to know their peers,” said Schneider. “And who doesn’t love free food late at night?”
