Brownsville edges Frazier, 8-5
Brownsville 8, Frazier 5 — Frazier fell behind 7-1 after three innings but couldn’t rally past Brownsville in the Falcons’ 8-5 Section 2-AA victory over the Commodores on Tuesday at Brownsville.
The Falcons (6-0, 8-3) were led by pitcher Dylan Brosky, who had seven strikeouts and one walk.
Brownsville scored two runs each in the first and the second before putting up three in the third. Frazier scored one run in the top of the third and fourth to trail the Falcons, 7-2 after four. Skooter Roebuck’s team in the bottom of the sixth before the Commodores (0-6, 0-8) scored three in the top of the seventh but couldn’t rally for the victory.
Jaryn Addis had two singles and a double for the Falcons, and scored a run to go along with three RBIs. Teammates Tyler Herman, Zach Bashour and Mason Kelly chipped in with two singles each.
Frazier’s Hunter Patterson had two triples. The Commodores’ Trevor Hayes took the loss from the mound. He had two strikeouts and five walks.
The Falcons travel to Waynesburg Central tomorrow. The first pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
