Jefferson-Morgan 11, Vincentian Academy 1 — Jefferson-Morgan jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first inning en route to an 11-1 non-section softball victory over Vincentian Academy at Jefferson-Morgan High School.

The Lady Rockets’ Camryn Dugan earned the pitching victory after allowing one run in four innings. She had two strikeouts and one walk. Dugan also doubled, had two walks and two RBIs.

J-M (4-1, 7-4) scored six in the first, two in the second and three in the third to put the Mercy Rule into effect after five innings.

Autumn Tedrow hit a three-run home run in the first and teammate Kayla Yorko had two base hits.

The Lady Rockets host Clay-Battelle, West Virginia, today at 4:30 p.m. in non-section play.
