Beth-Center takes advantage of Frazier’s miscues in 6-2 win

Beth-Center 6, Frazier 2 – Errors proved costly in Frazier’s 6-2 loss to Beth-Center on Friday in Section 2-AA baseball play at Frazier.

The Commodores (0-8, 0-10) committed four errors and found themselves down, 5-1, after three innings and couldn’t recover. Hunter Patterson took the loss in giving up six runs, two earned, in six innings. He had six strikeouts and three walks.

Jacob Knizner held Frazier to two runs on five hits in seven innings to pick up the win on the mound for Beth-Center (3-4, 3-5). He didn’t have a strikeout and walked one. Teammate Hunter Bowen was 2-for-4 with a double.

Logan was 2-for-3 for Frazier with a double, single and one run scored, while teammate Harry Johnson had two singles and an RBI.

Frazier visits Meadowlark Park on Monday at 4 p.m. when it faces Waynesburg Central (3-5, 5-8) in a section contest.
