Possession

A 25-year-old Mount Braddock woman was charged with possession after she was allegedly found to be in possession of three syringes, two glass smoking devices and a metal spoon with residue Nov. 1, according to state police.

Hit and run

Police said driver Norma Kubic, 86, of Greensburg was charged with hit and run after allegedly backing out of a parking space and striking another vehicle and fleeing the scene at Westmoreland Mall, Nov. 29. Witnesses observed the crash and reported it to police.

Driving at unsafe speed

Police said driver Ty McEliece, 19, of Greensburg was charged with driving a vehicle at unsafe speed after he allegedly sped through a yellow traffic signal at the intersection of Baltzer Meyer Pike and Walton Tea Room Road in Hempfield Township, causing his vehicle to leave the right berm and strike an embankment then proceeded north, striking a mailbox Nov. 13.

Theft

A Greensburg resident reported an unknown person(s) took a package from the door step of their residence on Tree Duck Court in Hempfield Township, Dec. 1, according to police.

Theft from motor vehicle

State police are investigating a theft after a Greensburg resident reported an unknown actor(s) entered their unlocked vehicle parked at the Giant Eagle Hempfield Plaza and removed multiple items totaling $90.50 on Dec. 1. Police ask anyone with additional information to contact Greensburg state police at 724-832-3288.

Theft

Police said one person was charged with theft after withholding money from Victoria’s Secret inside the Westmoreland Mall on several occasions between Sept. 1 and Nov. 21.

Theft

Police said a Hiller Township resident reported an unknown actor(s) took Christmas lights from outside their home on Fourth Street without their permission then left the scene by unknown means Dec. 3.

Theft from vehicle

Police are investigating a theft of approximately $20, a gas card/maintenance card and spare key from a vehicle parked at Hampton Inn in North Union Township sometime between Nov. 7 and 10.

Two-vehicle accident

Police said a two vehicle accident occurred when driver Lisa Foley, 47, of North Huntingdon was driving on Indian Creek Valley Road and continued through a stop sign at the intersection of County Line Road and struck driver Kimberly Polfus, 50, of Champion, who was driving legally through the intersection Dec. 3.

Theft from vehicle

State police said a Perryopolis resident reported a firearm was stolen from a motor vehicle parked on Matthew Drive in South Union Township, Dec. 3.

SPRINGHILL TWP.

Endangering child

Jesse Robert Pento, 35, of Uniontown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly driving in an erratic manner while his son was in the vehicle as they traveled on Outcrop Road in Springhill Township, Oct. 29.

NORTH UNION TWP.

DUIcCharges

A 29-year-old Smithfield man was charged with driving under the influence after he was found to be intoxicated while operating a motorcycle on North Gallatin Avenue Extension in North Union Township, Aug. 13.
