Noah Hintz Applause
The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce recently honored Noah Hintz of Masontown, a junior at Albert Gallatin High School, as a student of the month for October.
A son of Beth Ann and James Hintz, he plans to attend West Virginia University to study secondary education with the career goal of becoming a history teacher.
Hintz has been low brass section leader, first chair trombone for the 2016 Fay West Band Festival, “A” band in the WVU honors band and former Masontown Exchange Club student of the month.
He is active in extracurricular activities at Albert Gallatin High School, including the band program, drama club, choral department, National Honor Society and Academic League.
Elected by their schools based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and citizenship, students of the month are honored by the chamber’s Education Council. They will be presented a recognition certificate at the Students of the Month Dinner in April.
The sponsor of the Albert Gallatin High School students of the month, first semester, is Pento Home Care.
