Assault reported

Charleroi Regional Police filed charges of aggravated and simple assault, burglary and harassment against William Wise, 40, of 419 Mulberry Way, Donora, after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home and punched her in the face, knocking her unconscious. Jordan Bercik told police she woke up with her head in the dog’s water bowl. According to police, Bercik had a broken nose. Bercik told police it appeared that Wise entered her home through a bedroom window.

Fugitive captured

Monessen police Monday picked up Eddie Bell, 26, of Pittsburgh on a fugitive from justice warrant after finding him outside the Mon Valley EMS building at 1001 Donner Ave. charging his cellphone at an outdoor outlet shortly after 1:30 a.m. Bell had a suitcase with him and said he had just been kicked out by his girlfriend. A check showed that Bell had failed to appear for a preliminary hearing and was wanted as a fugitive.

Man arrested

Monessen police arrested Sheldon Todd Clark, 39, of 511 Second St., on an outstanding warrant after being called to his residence for a domestic dispute Dec. 10.

Man charged

Monessen police took Daniel Edward Patterson, 28, of 207 Park Manor Road into custody after responding to a call for a domestic dispute around 2 a.m. Tuesday. Patterson was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief.
