Marijuana possession

Daniel Williams, 33, of Hopwood was charged with marijuana possession after police pulled him over in the parking lot of Lowe’s and allegedly found a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia Dec. 24.

Criminal mischief reported

Police said someone damaged a door and frame at block three of Hillside Trailer Park after being evicted between Jan. 11 and 13. The property belongs to UMH Properties of Belle Vernon.

Theft reported

Police said a man left the Exxon Mobil gas station at 247 East Main St. with about $20 in fuel without paying for it Thursday at about 9:15 p.m. Police said the suspect is a black male driving a green Subaru/Volkswagon hatchback.

Police charged James Dotson, 40, of McClellandtown with driving under the influence after a traffic stop on North Main Street at about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 16.

Police charged Lucas Mancini, 21, of Fairchance and Tyler McCune, 21, of Uniontown with retail theft after they allegedly stole $6 of merchandise from Sheetz.

Police charged Leanna Fisch, 23, of Connellsville with retail theft after allegedly stealing three bottkes if liquor from Fine Wine and Good Spirits Dec. 28.

Accident reported

Police said Shawn Materna, 54, of Youngwood, Ohio, hit a car driven by Joseph Loughner, 51, of Greensburg as Loughner was backing out of his driveway onto Hecla Road Dec. 25. No injuries were reported.

Harrassment

Jamie Phillips, 43, of Uniontown was charged with harassment for allegedly arguing with a 50-year-old Uniontown woman at 825 2nd St. Jan. 3.

Harassment reported

Police charged Shelby Rosensteel, 22, of New Stanton for allegedly hitting a 23-year-old Connellsville woman in the back with a closed fist during an exchange of information after a vehicle accident in the parking lot of Speedy Meedy’s Dec. 24.

JACKSON TWP.

DUI

Police charged James Thomas Jr., 31, of New Freeport with driving under the influence after a vehicle accident on Golden Oaks Road Oct. 31. Thomas was flown from the scene to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
