Emily Sharp Applause
Uniontown Rotary Club recently honored Emily Sharp as an October student of the month.
A senior at Uniontown Area High School, she is a daughter of Sean and Shelley Sharp of Chalk Hill.
Sharp has studied piano for 10 years, designated an advanced pianist. She has been involved in musicals for four years with lead roles. She’s also been a member of show choir and One Acts for four years. Sharp is a featured twirler, performing twirling for six years.
She is in advanced placement, receiving an AP award with honors, a history award from the Daughters of the American Revolution and is president of the National Honor Society.
Sharp volunteers with food drives and as a Sunday school teacher. She works at Pine Springs summer camp.
Sharp is undecided about which college she will attend but plans to become a biomedical engineer.
