Accident reported
State police said Andrea Medich, 50, of Bethel Park sustained a suspected minor injury when the vehicle she was a passenger in traveled off the roadway and into a guide rail along Route 119 on Nov. 6.

Drug charges filed
Karen Degrange, 49, of 1128 Fourth St., Monongahela, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to police, Degrange had nine stamp bags of suspected heroin in her possession. Charges were filed Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Mark Wilson.

Thomas Johnson, 28, of 1008 Upper Crest Ave., Charleroi, was cited by Monongahela police for driving under the influence and reckless driving after being stopped at the intersection of West Main Street and Route 88 Tuesday.

Illegal gun purchase attempted
Monongahela police charged Heather Milligan, 40, of 62 Jones Lane, Monongahela, with the illegal sale or transfer of firearms after she attempted to purchase a gun at Lacy Firearms, 306 E. Main St., Monongahela. State police notified the Monongahela police of the attempted purchase on Nov. 14. Milligan is prohibited from possessing a firearm under Pennsylvania law, according to Monongahela Police Chief Brian Tempest.

Monongahela police cited Garrett Tustin, 26, of 3471 Cherry Ave., Finleyville, following a traffic stop Sunday at 1:21 a.m. in the 100 block of East Main Street. Tustin was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a small amount of marijuana and several traffic violations.

Robert McGrew, 51, of 404 Marion St., New Eagle, was cited by Monongahela police for driving under the influence and traffic violations. The citations stem from a traffic stop Nov. 12 at 1 a.m. at Second and Railroad streets.

Monongahela police cited Dennis V. Keller Jr., 24, of 426 Main St., New Eagle, for driving under the influence and careless driving following a traffic stop Nov. 12 at 2 a.m. in the 100 block of West Main Street, Monongahela.
