Child abuse reported
Brandon White, 23, of Connellsville was charged for allegedly hitting a child in the face, causing bruising in the 200 block of Prospect Street Oct. 20.

Juvenile charged
Connellsville police said they charged a 15-year-old boy for allegedly throwing something at a vehicle in the 300 block of 9th Street Nov. 13. Police said he was captured after a brief foot chase.

Theft reported
Kimberly Davis, 48, reported someone stole $1,200 and her cellphone from a Pittsburgh Street residence while she was sleeping between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Miranda Cramer reported someone made unauthorized purchases totaling about $100 on her EPPICard which she lost earlier this month.

One-vehicle accident
Police said driver Katie Johnson, 26, of Uniontown was distracted and left the roadway on Second Street Nov. 7, hitting a street sign and a fence. No injuries were reported.

Hit and run
State police said the driver of a Jaguar hit a vehicle driven by Shelbey Lorenzetty, 38, of Brownsville after rear-ending her at a red light on Matthew Drive Friday afternoon. Both vehicles pulled over to the side of the road, and the Jaguar driver fled before exchanging information, police said.
