New Pennsylvania Attorney General Bruce Beemer will have to decide whether or not to release a report on emails discovered on office computer servers, which included pornography, offensive jokes and other inappropriate materials. What do you think? Should he release the report and let the chips fall where they may? Or should he use some discretion and avoid embarrassing people who did nothing criminal?

“He should release them all. The people need to see what these people were doing when they should have been working. They owe it to taxpayers to let them know how their money was spent. We also need to know the names of the people who sent these emails.”

“In the corporate world in which I grew up, you learned to never use company computers for personal use, never tell offensive jokes in the office, never put porn on company computers and never tell racial jokes or pass them around through email. If you do any of the above, you are asking for trouble. I’ve seen people fired for doing this stuff, so government employees shouldn’t be doing it either.”

“I personally have no tolerance for racial/ethnic jokes among professional people! They should know better! Once you allow ethnic jokes, they quickly become racial jokes. I don’t know a racial/ethnic joke, therefore I can’t tell one, and I don’t want to listen to one! Don’t get me wrong, there was a time when I did, but I learned to never do that stuff again.”

“I say release them all. Maybe they can use the Hillary defense, get off scot-free and then run for higher office.”

“I can’t believe you’re bringing Hillary into this. She has absolutely nothing to do with this. Republicans have been investigating her for 30 years, and they still haven’t found anything.”

“What’s the big deal in releasing this information. All you’re going to do is embarass people and their families. There was nothing criminal or illegal being done. Some of these people may not have even looked at this stuff. This is just wrong.”

“These are the kind of people we have working for the government. What a shame!”

“It’s no big deal. Just forget about it.”
