“Our philosophy remains the same: to treat each customer like they are the most important person in the world,” said Joe Rettura Jr., who acquired the agency in 1997. “The relationships we have built with our customers are truly amazing. We still serve some of our earliest policy holders and are also meeting the needs of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”

Laurel Highlands Insurance Group, an official provider of Erie Insurance, offers solutions for all of its customers’ needs, including home, auto, business and life insurance. In addition, the agency takes great pride in providing each customer with education.

“We help our customers to become better informed so they can choose the best possible policy for their specific needs,” said Rettura.

What’s Rettura’s secret for operating such a successful agency. “It’s the way our staff pay attention to details,” he explained. “We try to answer all calls within the first three rings and return voice mails within 15 minutes. That’s one of the reasons why the Laurel Highlands Insurance Group won Erie Insurance’s prestigious F.W. Hirt Quality Agency Award in 2015.”
