Shooting victims charged

Tekeilla Stephens, 36, and Aaron L. Davis, 47, both of Monessen, are facing drug charges after California Borough Police allegedly found five bundles of heroin labeled “Dirty Money” in Stephens’ car during a shooting investigation. David McClain Mounts, 21, of Brownsville allegedly shot Stephens in the face through her car window Nov. 17, 2015, at about 5:30 p.m. on Highland Drive. Lab results returned Aug. 7 confirmed the substance was heroin, police said.

Domestic dispute

Chace J. Johnson, 19, of California was charged with simple assault after a domestic incident at his 234 Second St. apartment at about 4:48 p.m. Thursday.

Child abuse

Coletta L. Weimer, 38, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault for allegedly causing a minor injury to her juvenile relative at an East Fairview Avenue residence Friday.

Public drunkenness

Frank Hulina, 55, of Connellsville was cited with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found passed out on a park bench near Shop ‘n Save on Memorial Boulevard, Aug. 15.

Curfew violation

A 17-year-old Connellsville boy was charged with a curfew violation after he was observed by patrolling officers on Highland Avenue, Aug. 10.

DUI

Ashley N. Henderson, 31, of Connellsville was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance after she was allegedly found asleep in the driver’s seat of her vehicle outside Sheetz on West Crawford Avenue, June 8. Police said they found prescription narcotics that were not prescribed to her.

Two charged

Kimberly R. Henderson and Andrew Henkel, both 25 and of Ruffsdale, were charged with retail theft for alleged incidents at Shop ‘n Save and Martin’s Foods, Feb. 7. Police said the two tried to leave Martin’s Foods with a shopping cart full of groceries totaling $344.22 in value. They were stopped by an employee. They then allegedly stole a cart of groceries from Shop ‘n Save after Henderson asked a cashier to get something from her car while she waited in line. Henderson allegedly left with the full cart and the two quickly loaded the items into a vehicle, police said.

CONNELLSVILLE

Juvenile charges

Connellsville police charged three 17-year-old juveniles from Connellsville and Uniontown after they were found out after curfew Aug. 13. The juveniles fled police but were captured after a chase, police said. One of the juveniles was found with a loaded firearm and marijuana, according to police. He had an active juvenile probation warrant in Westmoreland County.

Connellsville police conducted an aggressive driver enforcement initiative that resulted in 53 traffic citations.

Fire investigation

A state police fire marshal is investigating a fire at a Morgantown Road residence that started at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday. The house, owned by Jeffery and Melissa Fields of Smithfield, was destroyed.

Money stolen

State police said someone stole $950 belonging to a 75-year-old man from a 36 Rose Garden Drive residence at about 1 a.m. July 1.

MOUNT PLEASANT TWP.

Money stolen

State police said someone stole $8,050 from a safe along Deer Creek Drive between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. July 28. The money belongs to Fred Edge, 64, of Mount Pleasant.

Domestic dispute

State police said a Mount Pleasant man was arrested after a physical domestic incident with a Mount Pleasant woman at his 216 B Clay Ave. residence at about 6 a.m. Saturday.

Man pulls gun on neighbor

Jack Dwain Shaffer, 74, of Lemont Furnace is charges after he allegedly pointed a sawed-off shotgun at his neighbor, Melvin Dewitt, at about 3 a.m. Saturday outside Shaffer’s 124 Turkeyfoot Road residence. Dewitt told state police he and Shaffer are in a “longstanding feud.” Before Shaffer allegedly pointed the shotgun, he said Shaffer was revving his truck loudly, driving up and down the street and began mowing his lawn at 2:45 a.m. Shaffer is facing misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, offensive weapons, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $35,000 bond.

Indecent assault

Jody Earl McCoy, 43, of Uniontown was charged with indecent assault without consent and indecent assault of a person less than 16 for allegedly touching a 14-year-old girl inappropriately on multiple occasions between February and July at her residence and Wal-Mart.
