The following charges were filed in magisterial courts in Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland counties Dec. 2-3. Those listed are innocent until proven guilty.

Fayette County

Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr.

Colten J. Bircher, 23, of Uniontown was charged with arrest prior to requisition.

Magisterial District Judge Richard Kasunic II

Erik W. Holsing II, 18, of Youngwood was charged with simple assault.

Washington County

Magisterial District Judge Curtis Thompson

Eugene R. Hixon, 58, of Eighty Four was charged with simple assault.

Magisterial District Judge Joshua Kanalis

Nathaniel J. Smith, 28, of Waynesburg was charged with strangulation and simple assault.
