Uniontown Rotary Club recently honored Corinna Elias as a December student of the month.

A senior at Uniontown Area High School, she is a daughter of Wendy Shriver-Elias of Uniontown.

At school, Elias is involved in many activities, including track and field for four years, cross country for three years, and National Honor Society, band and One Acts for one year.

She has studied dance for 15 years.

Elias plans to study physics in college but is undecided which school she will attend. Her long-term goal is to work with the NASA space program.
