CALIFORNIA

Items stolen

California Borough police charged three people with retail theft for allegedly taking items from the Dollar General on Wood Street Dec. 31 around 8:38 p.m. Charged were Avery Nzingh Coles, 20, of Pittsburgh, Janay Lynn Myers, 19, of Johnstown and Tyricc Jamar Taylor, 20, of Pittsburgh.

CALIFORNIA

Reporting violation alleged

California Borough Police charged Richard Scott Bowlen, 52, of Fairchance, with violating the Megan’s Law residence reporting requirement. Police discovered that Bowlen was living in the area of Ventura Lane without reporting his address when they responded to a domestic dispute Jan. 7 around 9 p.m.

CALIFORNIA

Man cited

California Borough police cited Adan Al-Ghurairi, 32, for simple trespass after he allegedly got into an argument with a resident at California Terrace and refused to leave. The incident on Zulu Street occurred Jan. 21 around 7 a.m.

CARROLL TWP.

DUI filed

The driver in a December accident now faces charges of driving under the influence and providing false identity to police. The charges were filed this week by Carroll Township police against Raymond J. Corbitt, 62, of Donora.

A truck driven by Corbitt had slid off of State Route 837 into a parked car on Dec. 17. Corbitt initially gave police the name of the owner of the truck as his own name. Blood alchol tests showed a reported level of .134, with .08 considered legally intoxicated.

CARROLL TWP.

PFA violations alleged

Carroll Township police have filed charges of making terroristic threats against a Pittsburgh man for allegedly threatening to harm his former girlfriend.

Jessic Kalyn Fike of Carroll township told police Charles Ray Nobles, 37, has violated the Protection from Abuse order she has against him several times and has said he would harm her if she notified police.

CHARLEROI

Drugs found

Charleroi Regional Police charged Bradley Castor, 25, of 308 Washington Ave., Charleroi, with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal use of a communication facility. The charges stem from an incident Monday in which police found two bricks of suspected heroin at his residence.

CHARLEROI

Detergent stolen

Deanna Lewis,34, of 340 Franklin Dr., Monessen, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly took Tide laundry pods from the Dollar General Store in Charleroi. The incident took place shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Lewis was taken into custody and it was discovered that she had multiple prior arrests for retail theft.She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hopkins, with bond set at $35,000 cash.

CHARLEROI

Charges stem from domestic

Charleroi Regional Police cited Deshante Stitch, 25, of 510 Washington Ave. Charleroi, with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck Courtney Lowell in the face Tuesday at 7:39 p.m. at their residence.

MONESSEN

Juveniles threatened

Monessen police charged Luz Diaz, 37, of 337 Short St., Monessen, with terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and disorderly conduct after she allegedly pointed a loaded handgun at three people including two juveniles Sunday. The incident occurred around 6:05 p.m. near the corner of Fourth and Knox in Monessen. One of the juveniles had reportedly been in a fight with Diaz’s child earlier in the day. No one was injured in the incident.

MONONGAHELA

Prostitution alleged

Monongahela police charged Denis Gayle Williams, 38, of Monongahela, with prostitution, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer responded to an internet ad believed to be a solicitation for prostitution. Police found a glass pipe, suspected marijuana and eight stamp bags of heroin inside her purse as they were getting her keys out at her request to lock her door.

Brother cited

Monongahela police cited Lebarron Edward Law, 23, of Monongahela for simple assault and harassment for allegedly fighting with his sister over a phone charger.

Counterfeit bill passed

Rostraver Township police recently charged Taylor Rajeen Harris, 25, of 413 Ontario St., Monessen, with forcery and theft by deception after he allegedly used a counterfeit $100 bill for a purchase at the Taco Belle on Tri-County Lane in August.

Woman held against will

Chase Alexander O’Brien, 18, of 617 Lincoln St., Monongahela, was charged with unlawful restraint, simple assault and criminal mischief after a domestic dispute in which he allegedly held a 21-year-old woman against her will at a room at the Hampton Inn. According to Rostraver police, O’Brien damaged the room phone and hit the woman before fleeing the scene Saturday around 7:30 a.m.

Kimberly Ann Shipley, 54, of 335 Washington Ave., Charleroi, was charged with retail theft fiollowing an incident Jan. 19 at the Wallmart in Belle Vernon.

James Allen Gaul II, 30, of 321 Market St., Belle Vernon, was charged with retail theft in connection iwth an incident Jan. 10 at 6:34 p.m. at the KMart in Belle Vernon.

Woman  charged

Michelle Grcich, 32, of 611 Washington Ave. Apt. 2, Charleroi, was charged with retail theft after allegedly taking items from Lowes in Belle Vernon Jan. 17 at 2 p.m.

Paraphernalia found

Rostraver police charged Dan Alan Dunseath, 43, of 183 Pine St., Jefferson, with possession of drug paraphernalia. the incident occurred Jan. 19 at 4:03 p.m. at the Walmart in Belle Vernon.

Drug charges filed

Rostraver police charged Alisha D. Crane, 27, of 204 Trout dr., New Alexandria, with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at the Walmart in Belle Vernon Jan. 19 at 4:03 p.m.
