Man charged
California police said Darrin Mackey, 25, of Republic was charged with strangulation, assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted a woman at a Liberty Street home around 9 p.m. June 29.

Man charged
Thomas Anthony Clipp, 34, of Aleppo was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing meat and soda from the Fisher Heights Giant Eagle around 2:10 p.m. June 21, Carroll Township police said.

DUI charges filed
Carroll Township police said Michael Allen Anderson, 58, of North Charleroi was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Police said he was driving under the influence on Hazelkirk Road around 10 p.m. June 27.
CONNELLSVILLE TWP.
Burglary reported
State police said someone broke into Hanson Aggregates Stone Quarry between Saturday and Monday and stole various tools, copper and a welding cable. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.
MENALLEN TWP.
Crash reported
State police said no one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Upper Middletown Road around 7:30 a.m. June 26. Police listed the drivers of the vehicles involved as Christopher P. Tercho, 29, of Fairbank and John Masterbray Sr., 59, of Dunbar.
NORTH UNION TWP.
Accident reported
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Bute Road around 6:20 p.m. June 20, state police said. Authorities listed the driver of one of the vehicles as Korinne M. Thiesen, 29, of Belleville, Illinois. The driver of the second vehicle was listed as Matthew P. Kalich, 41, of Uniontown. Police said Brandi Kalich, 38, of Uniontown was a passenger in his vehicle.

Man charged
State police said Dionte Lee Washington, 24, of Uniontown was charged with false identification after he provided police with a fake name during a traffic stop Tuesday. Police said he had a warrant out for his arrest for burglary and took him into custody.
