Charges filed
Police are charging Colt Ruby, 20, of Connellsville with aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence after a Dec. 20 accident in which Ruby was allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance and lost control of his vehicle on Englishman Road in Bullsking Twp. and hit a tree causing his two passengers to suffer life threatening injuries.

Bar fight charges filed
California Borough police cited Ian Robert Cain Erdley, 22, of Perryopolis for disorderly conduct and harassment following a physical altercation at McMonagle’s Pub, 153 Second St., Feb. 15 at 1:55 a.m.

Underage drinking alleged
California Borough police charged Daymon Travere Parker, 20, of West Mifflin with driving under the influence and underage drinking for an incident Feb. 23. According to police, the vehicle Parker was driving struck the curb at Ash and Fourth, resulting in the traffic stop.

Stained glass broken
Alexander William Antonio, 23, of California was cited for criminal mischief after his gun accidentally discharged, breaking a stained glass window at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Union Street Feb. 14 at 2:44 p.m. Antonio told police he was investigating suspicious noises inside his Fifth Avenue apartment when the gun accidentally went off. Damages to the window are estimated at $700. There was no one in the church at the time of the incident.
CHARLEROI
Unauthorized use of a bank card
Charleroi police charged Marshall Tucker Lambert, 24, of Dunlevy with unauthorized use of a debit card after he allegedly made a false $200 deposit into an account belonging to another person then withdrew $90 from the account. The incident occurred in late January at the Charleroi Federal Savings Bank.

Underage drinking
Monessen police charged Jevante Lamont Carlock, 20, of Monessen was cited for resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, public drunkenness, purchasing alcohol as a minor and disorderly conduct following an incident Feb. 28 around 11:45 p.m. in which Carlock had been threatening to fight. Upon tasking him into custody, police found 1 ½ Xanax bar pills in his pocket.
MONESSEN
Marijuana arrest made
Monessen police arrested Kevin Crews, 26, of Monessen on charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of children, tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests was made Feb. 28 when police went to his residence attempting to serve a warrant on another person, but instead found a strong odor of burned marijuana at the house. Crews slammed and locked the door when police asked to enter. They subsequently kicked in the door and found a jar full of marijuana, a box containing $1,000, a metal marijuana grinder, rolling papers, a digital scale and related items.
Crews is free on $25,000 bond.

Vehicle into porch
State police said a driver hit a porch at 82 Reppert Blvd. at about 12:30 a.m. March 3 and fled the scene. The driver also hit a street sign and stop sign, police said.

Two-vehicle accident
State police said driver James Howard, 51, of Connellsville hit a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Connellsville and Starlight roads as driver Steven Thorpe, 47, of Lemont Furnace was waiting to turn left Tuesday. Thorpe was transported to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS for evaluation.
