Connellsville police cited Alan Wingrove, 24, of New Salem with public drunkenness after he was found allegedly highly intoxicated on North 11th Street on Feb. 28.

Connellsville police said a 17-year-old violated a protection from abuse order after an argument and allegedly became physical at a South Prospect Street residence Feb. 20.

Child harassed
According to state police, a registered Megan’s Law offender, shouted inappropriate sexually explicit advances at an 11-year-old girl in the vicinity of 249 Sandworks Road. The incident occurred Friday at 7:30 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Greensburg at 724-832-3288.

The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Kloc’s Inn for alleged gambling violations.

Items taken
A Monessen woman was charged with retail theft and use or possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to the Dollar General on Donner Avenue on Sunday for a suspected shoplifter. According to police, Stacy Elyice Nicholas, 30, was found to have six items from the store hidden in her clothing or in her purse. Drug paraphernalia, including two used syringes, were also found in her possession. According to police, a background search showed Nicholas had numerous prior retail theft arrests.

Prescription scam alleged
A Monongahela woman was taken into custody March 1 as she attempted to pick up a prescription for a controlled pain reliever. According to the affidavit filed with the charges against Laura L. Erickson, 55, she called the Rite-Aid pharmacy claiming to be from a doctor’s office calling in a prescription. Records showed she had called on Dec. 13 and on Feb. 11 for the same drug. Erickson is charged with acquiring or obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation.

Someone removed cash from a car owned by Jeffrey Steven Mlinek of Acme while the vehicle was parked at 5143 Shady Lane, Mount Pleasant, between March 4 at 11 p.m. and March 5 at 7 a.m.

Weapons stolen
State police said someone broke into a Morris Buncic Road house between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 30 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 31 and stole various weapons.

Rostraver Township police cited William Tyler Adams, 24, of Donora for driving under the influence following a traffic stop Feb. 26 at 2:13 a.m. on Route 201.

Two-vehicle accident
Uniontown police said driver Arlene Craig pulled out from an alley and hit a vehicle driven by Joseph Marshall, who was driving on Jefferson Street, Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

Deborah Crago reported to Uniontown police Sunday her front passenger tire was stolen from her vehicle overnight.

Two-vehicle accident
Uniontown police said a juvenile driver was turning right onto Main Street from Nassau Street when he hit a vehicle driven by Denise Warnick, Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

Uniontown police said drivers James Eadie and Jonathan Sharp were driving on Route 40 near its intersection with Route 21, Sunday morning, when their vehicles collided. No injuries were reported.
