Golden Lions defeat Brownville in opener, 4-1
Jake Robbins spotted Brownsville a 1-0 lead, but Greensburg Salem rallied to win the remaining four matches Monday for a 4-1 Section 1-AA road victory.
Robbins defeated DJ Zedalis, 6-1, 6-0, for the win at No. 1 singles.
The Falcons (0-1, 0-1) dropped the remaining two singles matches and both doubles matches in straight sets.
Dave Zeloski won just one game at No. 2 singles, as did the No. 2 doubles team of Braden Richardson and Alec Lima.
Kyle Phillabaum lost his No. 3 singles match to Jack Maruca, 6-1, 6-3, while the Falcons’ No. 1 doubles team of Kyler Flowers and Joey Terreta lost to Tristin Greer and Ryan Nalevanko, 6-1, 6-2.
The Falcons return to action Thursday when they travel to Southmoreland.

South Park 3, California 2 – California won two of the three singles matches Monday afternoon, but South Park won the other and swept the doubles to open Section 1-AA with a 3-2 home victory.
John Monroe and Josh Wohar won their singles matches for the Trojans (0-1, 0-1).
California returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Ringgold at 4 p.m.
