PAC honors Toohey, Riddle

Washington & Jefferson senior forward Jordan Toohey and Bethany (W.Va.) senior goalkeeper Anna Riddle, both Mount Pleasant graduates, were honored the week by the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Toohey scored five goals last week for the Presidents, who compiled a 3-0 mark. Toohey scored four goals in a 6-0 win against Saint Vincent and scored the lone goal Saturday in the Presidents’ 1-0 win against Westminster.

Toohey’s four-goal game against the Lady Bearcats was the third of her career.

Riddle made 13 saves Saturday in the Bison’s 1-0 victory against visiting Thomas More (Ky.). The 13 saves were a career best in a victory for Biddle and just one save short of her season best.
