Falcons shut out Southmoreland, 1-0

Brody Bagwell scored the lone goal and keeper Nate Kovscek made the tally stand for a 1-0 Section 3-AA victory Tuesday night against visiting Southmoreland.

Bagwell scored around the 15-minute mark in the second half off a Jake Sabatula assist.

Kovscek made five saves to preserve the shutout.

Brownsville (1-0, 3-1) fired 23 shots on the Scotties’ Jonathan Christopher.
