Laurel Highlands 7, Albert Gallatin 0 – Grace Chambers scored a hat trick in the first half and Anna Sepic and Jillian Verbus combined for the shutout as Laurel Highlands opened Section 2-AAA play Wednesday night with a 7-0 win at Albert Gallatin.

Erica Tarr opened the scoring on an assist from Bryn Lilley. Chambers scored the next two goals, the second assisted by Maggie Cunningham.

Nina Nickman scored the fourth goal of the half, followed by Cunningham’s goal assisted by Lilley.

Chambers capped the scoring in the first half with her third goal, assisted by Cunningham.

Sydney Chiado closed the scoring with a goal in the second half.

Laurel Highlands improves to 1-0 in the section and 2-0-1 overall, while the Lady Colonials slip to 0-1 and 0-3.
