Man charged
David Sterling Wright, 48, of Van Voorhis was charged with terroristic threats, resisting arrest and propulsion of missiles onto roadways after he allegedly threw rocks at vehicles on Third Street near its intersection with Mechanic Street at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. California police said he was abusive and threatening toward police and resisted arrest. He is lodged in Washington County Prison in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

State police responded to a domestic altercation at 14 B West Church Street Aug. 4 in which an older brother allegedly punched his two younger brothers.

Crash into memorial wall
Driver Clay Dobish, 29, of Lemont Furnace lost control of his vehicle and crashed into he memorial wall outside North Union Township Volunteer Fire Department at about 6:45 p.m. Sept. 10, causing damage to the memorial wall, bushes and his vehicle, state police said. No injuries were reported. Police said he was found with a small amount of marijuana. He was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernlia.
