Burglary reported

A 34-year-old Dunbar Township man reported to state police someone broke into his 112 Green St. residence between Aug. 29 and 30 and stole several items. Police are investigating.

Vehicles damaged

State police said Alfred Nativio, 48, and John Kumor, 69, both of Connellsville, reported their driver’s side windows were damaged in Wheeler’s Bottom sometime between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19.

FAIRCHANCE

Cause of fire undetermined

State police said the cause of a vehicle fire at 4 Kyle Ave. in Fairchance on Aug. 31 was undetermined. Michael Jordan, 39, parked his 2012 Ford Focus in front of his residence and saw the vehicle was on fire a short time later, police said. The fire caused about $8,000 in damage. Police are continuing to investigate.

FRANKLIN TWP.

DUI

Michael D. Penn, 27, of Charleroi was charged with DUI after he was stopped for driving with improper tires in the 1800 block of Pittsburgh Road, July 17.

GERMAN TWP.

Two-vehicle crash

State police said a Hyundai Sonata driver failed to yield at the intersection of McClellandtown and Footdale roads and hit a Hyundai Tucson at about 7 a.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported.

HENRY CLAY TWP.

Two-vehicle crash

State police said a Ford F150 driver was hit while making a left turn from Ramcat Road when the truck was hit by driver Joseph D. Pirl, 48, of Confluence. No injuries were reported. Police did not identify the truck driver.

Marijuana possession

State police said a driver was arrested under suspicion of DUI and found with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the cul-de-sac of Atlas Crossing Road, July 20.

Two-vehicle accident

State police said driver Diane R. Pecora, 52, of Irwin hit a vehicle driven by Joseph M. Lessick, 70, of Smock when she merged into the left lane of West Main Street near McDonald’s and struck Lessick’s Jeep Laredo. She told police she was suffered from neck pain. She was transferred to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS.

SPRINGHILL TWP.

Burglary reported

State police said Elzie Lavery, 69, reported someone stole a generator and an auger from his shed at 104 Volek Road between 11:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 18.
