Fillies rally past Frazier, 6-3

Laurel Highlands 6, Frazier 3 – Laurel Highlands rallied for three late runs Friday afternoon for a 6-3 non-section softball victory at Frazier.

The teams matched runs in the early innings, tied at 3-3 after two innings. Laurel Highlands scored two runs in the top of the fifth inning and added another in the sixth.

The Fillies’ Allison Lowery just missed hitting for the cycle with a home run, double and single. Emma Bliss legged out a triple and added a single. Sydney LaClair also had a double.

Lauren Sperry started the game and allowed all three runs on four hits with one walk and one strikeout. Sydney Petrowski earned the win in relief, scattering two hits with one strikeout and no walks.

Logan Hartman took the loss for the Lady Commodores, allowing 12 hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks.

Kayla Matway belted a home run for Frazier. Kathryn Barch finished with a double and single.
