Justin Hartsek Applause

The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce recently honored Justin Hartsek of Uniontown, a junior at Laurel Highlands High School, as a student of the month for March.
A son of Robert and Jennifer Hartsek, he is undecided about the post secondary school he will attend but plans to study pharmacy with the career goal of becoming a pharmacist.
Hartsek is an honor roll student and is in the 4.0 Club.
He is involved in the extracurricular activities, including soccer, track and Junior Achievement.
Hartsek has work experience with Hartsek Catering.
He has community involvement, serving meals to the homeless on Christmas and volunteering with the Laurel Highlands Academic Foundation.
Elected by their schools based on academic achievement, extra curricular activities, and citizenship, students of the month are honored by the chamber’s Education Council. They were presented a recognition certificate at the Students of the Month Dinner in April.
The Laurel Highlands Students of the Month (second semester) were sponsored by Vern Allen Tire Inc.
