Vehicle damaged

State police said someone damaged a vehicle belonging to 70-year-old Sharon H. Zunic, 70, of Belle Vernon at 37 Sampson St. at about 5 a.m. April 7.

EAST HUNTINGDON TWP.

One-vehicle wreck

State police said driver Andrew J. Evans, 21, of Everson became distracted and lost control of his vehicle on Water Street near Victor Avenue at about 8:40 a.m. April 14 and hit a utility pole. Police said he was not wearing a seatbelt. He suffered a suspected minor injury but refused ambulance transport to a hospital, according to police.

EAST HUNTINGDON TWP.

Rear-end collision

State police said driver Charlotte A. Bodnar, 77, of Lemont Furnace rear-ended driver Corinna Grubbs, 54, of Connellsville on Route 819 at its intersection with Bank and Trust Road at about 9:40 a.m. April 19. Grubbs suffered a possible injury and was taken to Frick Hospital by Mutual Aid, according to police.

Drug paraphernalia

State police said someone was stopped for a vehicle code violation in the 300 block of Van Meter Road at about 10:30 p.m. April 6 and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

SOUTH UNION TWP.

Vehicle damaged

State police said someone threw a brick through the window of a 40-year-old Uniontown man’s door while it was parked at Hopwood Tavern at about 12:50 a.m. March 2.

STEWART TWP.

Two-vehicle crash

State police said driver Katharine E. Hunt, 35, of Champion lost control of her vehicle near 1525 Mill Run Road at about 5 p.m. Saturday and crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic, hitting a vehicle driven by Thomas A. Kessler, 33, of Mill Run, causing him to hit a guard rail. Hunt was taken to Highlands Hospital in Connellsville by Fayette EMS with suspected minor injuries. Kessler and Hunt’s 9-year-old female passenger reported no injuries.

UNIONTOWN

Assault at prison

Carl A. Fordyce, 27, of Uniontown was charged with aggravated assault and simple assault for allegedly punching and headbutting Fayette County Prison Lt. Lawrence Chapman at about 12:40 p.m. April 19 at Fayette County Prison.
