The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited the Legion Club Inc. of Centerville, Pennsylvania, for allegedly failing to maintain complete and truthful records for two years preceding July 24.

Mailbox damaged
State police said someone damaged a mailbox at 187 Trauger Road between noon Aug. 5 and 5 a.m. Aug. 6.

Juvenile charged
State police said a 17-year-old Irwin girl was charged with institutional vandalism for allegedly damaging a grass field with her Jeep at Stanwood Elementary School. Police said she admitted to the crime and is paying for damages.

Liquor law violation
The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Zaffina’s Distributing Inc. with allegedly failing to comply with responsible alcohol management certification between June 5 and July 11.

Man charged
Thomas G. Rodriguez, 19, of Belle Vernon was arrested after he was allegedly found to be driving under the influence on Route 51 near Interstate 70 at about 12:20 a.m. July 14. State police said he was found with marijuana and alcohol.

Two charged
Rostraver Township Police arrested John J. Malletz, 52, and Thomas J. Coyne, 50, of Latrobe near CoGos at about 1 p.m. Tuesday. Both men were allegedly found intoxicated and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Malletz had warrants out of Allegheny County.

Identity theft
State police said someone used Dawn C. Evans’ credit card information to make three unauthorized purchases at 3rd Base Beer & Food in York, totaling $58.75 Aug. 10. Evans is 51 of Ruffsdale.
WESTMORELAND COUNTY
Sobriety checkpoint
State police in Greensburg will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint between Aug. 27 and Sept. 3 to detect and arrest people driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
