Woman charged
Bentleyville police charged Heather L. Brunick, 33, no address listed, with burglary, two counts each of access device fraud and identity theft and four counts of theft. The charges stemmed from an alleged break in on Jan. 3. A warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Burglaries reported
State police said someone broke into a home at 1722 Wharton Furnace Road between Thursday and Friday and stole video game systems, video games and a television. A second home at 440 Five Forks Road was also burglarized, police said, and $4,000 to $6,000 was stolen.
MONESSEN
Man charged
William J. Slider, 28, of New Eagle was charged Monday with forgery, access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Dalfonso. Monessen police said the charges related to an alleged theft on Sunday. Slider was arraigned and released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
MONONGAHELA
Drug charges filed
Donald Payne, 56, of Clairton was charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by Monongahela police. The charges related to an alleged incident on Jan. 10. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 24 before Magisterial District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Theft charge filed
Rostraver Township police charged Jennifer R. Budney, 38, of Yukon with retail theft over an alleged theft on Jan. 10. The case was filed before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Dalfonso, who issued a warrant for Budney.

Man charged
State police said Edward E. Martin, 33, of Uniontown was taken into custody and charged with fleeing or eluding police after a pursuit just before 2 a.m. Friday.

Crash reported
No one was injured Friday when a school bus traveling on Route 40 near the intersection of Walmart Drive sideswiped a car around 7:20 a.m. Police said there were 22 students on the bus driven by Ronald R. Diamond, 77, of Smithfield. The driver of the car involved was listed as Goergetta L. Faverio, 56, of New Salem.
WEST NEWTON
Assault alleged
West Newton police charged Shawn E. Grbach, 38, of Charleroi with simple assault and cited him for harassment. Police said the alleged assault occurred on Friday. Grbach is free on a non-monetary bond.
