Drug charges

Michael James Russo, 37, of Charleroi was charged after he was allegedly found with crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia at Lowe’s Home Improvement, Jan. 20.

CONNELLSVILLE

Doctor’s office burglarized

State police are investigating a burglary at Highland Pediatrics on Memorial Boulevard at about 4:30 a.m. Jan. 16. Two suspects broke in through the side door and stole $400 and 80 DVDs, police said. The property is owned by Terrance C. Shallenberger.

Crash reported

State police said driver Edmund Cybulski Jr., 70, of Normalville was distracted and hit a construction barrier on Route 31 near Bauer Road at about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 12. He and his passenger, Beckie S. Landsperger, 61, of Normalville, reported no injuries.

Vehicle accident

State police said driver Marcia R. Gaydos, 60, of Uniontown hit a deer on  Route 40 (National Pike) near Coffman Lane at about 6 a.m. Saturday, causing disabling damage to her Nissan Murano. She was taken to Uniontown Hospital by Southwest EMS for a suspected minor injury.

Woman charged

Darchelle Barb Ethridge, 19, of Canonsburg was charged with defiant trespass after she was allegedly found at Rostraver Apartments on Matthews Road at about 2:15 p.m. Friday.

One-vehicle crash

State police said driver Melodie Cramer, 25, of Vanderbilt hit a median multiple times on the ramp between Route 40 east and west just before midnight Tuesday. The Volkswagen Passat was disabled and fluid leaked onto the media, police said. No injuries were reported.

Aggravated assault

Uniontown police charged Raekwon K. Pratt, 18, of Uniontown with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault for allegedly threatening a woman at Family Dollar with a gun at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday saying, “If you wasn’t at work I would shoot,” according to court paperwork. He allegedly confronted the woman’s boyfriend outside the store before leaving.

Cellphone stolen

Jessica E. Mansberry reported to police someone stole her cellphone from inside her vehicle while it was parked at 315 N. Gallatin Ave. between 10 p.m. and just after midnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Domestic violence

Rostraver Police charged Eugene Len Streets, 62, of West Newton with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person for an alleged domestic violence incident at a German Street residence at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
