CALIFORNIA

Two cited in altercation

California Borough police cited Ruben W. Miller, 42, of Charleroi and Antonio D. Rivera, 39, of LaBelle with disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident at 6:21 p.m. July 1, in the parking lot of Cal-Ed Credit Union in California. According to police, the two allegedly got into a physical alteraction while making a custody exchange in the parking lot.

Two arrested after argument

California Borough police investigated an alleged assault at 12:53 a.m. on Wednesday at a residence in California. According to police, Sabrina L. Cullen, 33, and Clarence A. Lancaster, 63, both of California, got into a domestically motivated physical argument at their Fifth Street apartment. Both were arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment.

ELLSWORTH

Theft alleged

Washington state police investigated an incident involving theft from an unspecified number of motor vehicles that occurred before 6 a.m. on Friday on North Pine Street, state police said. According to police, an unknown actor entered several unlocked vehicles and removed items including cash, spare change and a loaded firearm.

FINLEYVILLE

Restaurant cited

Pittsburgh state police reported that a Finelyville restaurant has been cited by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for furnishing alcohol to a minor back in April 2018. According to the report, the minor was served alcohol on April 16, at the Hunting Lodge in Finleyville. The restaurant could face fines and penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000 and the possible suspension or revocation of their liquor license, depending on the severity of the offense, according to the police.

MT. PLEASANT

Animal cruelty alleged

Greensburg state police investigated an incident of alleged animal cruelty when several animals were found left alone in a barn without any food or water at 8 a.m. on Tuesday on Weinman Road in Mt. Pleasant Township. David S. Shirley, 50, of Mt. Pleasant, is accused in the incident. According to reports, the animals, which included three horses, one goat and several cats (and kittens), were also living in deplorable conditions. Agents from the humane society and a doctor from Top Notch Veterinarian Services assisted with the investigation.

NORTH UNION TWP

Theft reported

Uniontown state police investigated an incident involving theft on July 4 in North Union Township. According to police, an unknown actor gained entry into multiple vehilces that had been left unlocked between the hours of 3 and 5 a.m. Items taken included coins, a purse containing approximately $700 and a Smith & Wesson SD9V semi-automatic handgun. During the investigation, police learned that the suspect was wearing skinny jeans, a light-colored hoodie, flat brim hat and was carrying a string-style backpack. A finger/palm print was lifted off one of the vehicles and submitted to the Greensburg crime lab for analysis. Police are awaiting results.

Man arrested

Uniontown state police report that Craig Solesky of Lemont Furnace has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of alleged marijuna for an incident at 10:52 p.m. May 25, on Morgan Station Road in North Union Township. Police report that Solesky’s blood alcohol content was found to be 0.418 percent.

UNIONTOWN

Uniontown tavern cited

Pittsburgh state police reported that Titlow Inc. (d.b.a. as Titlow Tavern & Grille) has been cited with a liquor law violation. According to the report, on June 19, Titlow allegedly posted a notice stating the establishment was closed for a reason other than the suspension of its license. The tavern faces penalties and fines that range from $50 to $5,000 and suspension or revocation of its liquor license depending on the severity of the violation, according to police.
