Cayleigh Pratt Applause
Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club recently honored Cayleigh Pratt as its February girl of the month.
A senior at Carmichaels Area High School, she is a daughter of Kevin and Kimberly Pratt of Carmichaels.
Pratt’s honors and activities at school include highest honors honor roll, senior high marching band and drum major, senior high concert band, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, French club, chemistry club, senior standing committee and senior yearbook editor.
Outside of school, she has studied all forms of dance and instructs youths at In Motion Dance and Fitness. She volunteers with the Carmichaels Youth Cheerleading League.
Pratt plans to attend Washington and Jefferson College to double major in chemistry and neuroscience. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree, she would like to continue her education to become a neurosurgeon.
