CONNELLSVILLE
DUI crash
Connellsville police charged Bryson Braun, 25, of Greensburg with two counts of DUI after he allegedly crashed into Spirit Car Wash on Morrell Avenue Feb. 24, causing about $8,000 in damages. Witnesses reportedly told police he was swerving on the road. He was taken to Uniontown Hospital with injuries. Police said his blood-alcohol content of 0.33 percent, more than three times the legal limit.

PFA violation
Kenny L. Metz, 55, of Connellsville was charged with indirect criminal contempt for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order. Connellsville police said the victim reported a relative of Metz demanded she drop the order in violation of the PFA.

Retail theft
Connellsville police charged Tiffany R. Billotte, 28, of Greensburg with retail theft for allegedly putting about $30 of Dollar General merchandise in her purse March 15 and trying to leave the store without paying.
CONNELLSVILLE
Dog law violation
Desiree M. Barron, 32, of Connellsville was cited with confinement and control after her dog was hit by a car crossing East Crawford Avenue. It was taken to a veterinarian. A witness told Connellsville police the dog is known to roam the area.

Burglary reported
State police said someone broke into a 113 Seamans Road home between 11 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and stole a 32-inch Dynex LCD screen TV belonging to Bruce Franke.
