CONNELLSVILLE
Large disturbance
Connellsville police said a 17-year-old Pittsburgh boy fired a BB gun during a disturbance in the 500 block of Highland Avenue, April 15. Police were called for a report of gunfire, but learned the no gunfire occurred. They said the BB gun looked realistic. Police said Carla Darrell, 41, Kenny Callahan, 23, Nicholas Williams, 25, all of Connellsville, came to a residence to start a confrontation over a debt. The men allegedly tried to start a fight, and Darrell intervened. The teen allegedly came outside and threatened them with the BB gun and fired it at the group. Darrell, Callahan, Earnesty and Williams were cited with disorderly conduct. The teen was charged with terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct through juvenile probation, according to police.

DUI charged
Connellsville Police charged Christopher A. Ward, 36, of Connellsville with two counts of DUI after he was allegedly sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle at a green light at the intersection of South Arch Street and West Crawford Avenue, April 22. Police said he failed sobriety tests and refused to consent to a blood draw. He reportedly had a smell of alcohol and glassy and bloodshot eyes.

Two cited
Connellsville police cited Joshua A. Carlson, 30, and Anthony R. Rohal, 27, both of Connellsville, with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for an alleged incident at Newt’s York Bar April 26. Employees told police the men started an argument with another person at the bar, and refused to leave until the employees threatened to call the police. They allegedly returned several times and tried to start a fight with the other patron and employees. Police found the men outside the bar.

Disorderly conduct
Connellsville police cited Stephanie J. Sagan, 36, with disorderly conduct when they allegedly observed her yelling obscenities and throwing items onto West Green Street, April 26. Officers spoke with her, and learned she was evicting a man from her residents. Police said she was asked numerous times to stop yelling and using obscene language, but she did not comply.

Retail theft
Connellsville police charged Randolph T. Bartley, 26, with retail theft for allegedly stealing from Sheetz, April 23. Police said employees gave them a description of the suspect, and Bartley was found with several stolen items.
DEEMSTON
School threats
State police said an 11-year-old boy threatened to go on a shooting spree and then kill himself at Bethlehem Center Senior High School at about 1:35 p.m. April 23. He was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. Police said a charge was filed through juvenile probation.

Burglary reported
State police said someone broke into 157 Rankin Road in Smithfield between 4 p.m. April 27 and 2 p.m. Tuesday and stole a red 2006 Honda CR 250 with chrome Pro Circuit exhaust and a blue 2004 Yamaha YFZ 450 with Cherry Bomb exhaust belonging to William G. Dice Jr.

Theft from vehicles
State police are looking for a person who was breaking into unlocked vehicles on Cherry Blossom Drive between 1:55 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. April 23. Police identified the victims as Colin Gnibus and Mark A. Juliano, both of Mount Pleasant.
