Jessica Phillips Applause
Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club recently honored Jessica Phillips as its April girl of the month.
A daughter of William and Pam Phillips of Carmichaels, she is a senior at Carmichaels Area High School.
Phillips’ honors and activities include varsity basketball, marching and concert bands, Students Against Destructive Decisions, secretary of student council, senior standing committee and National Honor Society.
Outside of school, Phillips is involved in 4-H and is a volunteer at Little Bears Childcare.
Phillips plans to attend Clarion University to major in nursing with hopes of becoming a nurse in a pediatric intensive care unit.
