Trespass reported
Christopher M. Heffner, 40, of Coal Center was cited for allegedly trespassing on his neighbors’ property at 13 Guerra Lane at about 11:10 a.m. May 11. The neighbor told police Heffner habitually violates the property line.

Car damaged
State police said someone caused minor damage to the rear left corner of a cab on the back of Ross Allen Haven’s 2004 Ford F150 while it was parked along Gurley Drive between 7 p.m. May 8 and 4 p.m. May 12. Haven is 48 and lives in Scottdale.

DUI checkpoint
State police in Uniontown will conduct DUI sobriety checkpoints between May 23 and May 30 to detect and arrest drivers under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Illegal weapons cache found
An arrest warrant was issued for Justin D. Key, 28, of Charleroi after state police reportedly found illegal firearms and explosives at 209 Wilson Road at about 1:10 a.m. May 8. He is facing five counts each of weapons of mass destruction, risking catastrophe and possession of explosive or incendiary material, 15 counts of possession of a firearm prohibited and one count of receiving stolen property.

Domestic abuse
Malik A. Lomax, 44, of Jeannette allegedly punched a 30-year-old Jeannette woman and a 22-year-old Uniontown woman, causing injuries during a reported domestic assault on North Main Street at about 3:20 p.m. Saturday. The women were taken to Westmoreland County Hospital for treatment. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and two counts of terroristic threats. He is lodged in Westmoreland County Prison in lieu of a $30,000 bond.

Teen reported missing
State police said 15-year-old Alaysha Shaffer left her Gallatin Avenue home sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 1:45 a.m. Tuesday without her parents’ knowledge.
