Vehicle damaged

Karina Fratangeli, 21, of Pittsburgh reported to borough police Sept. 30 someone damaged her vehicle by walking on the hood while it was parked at Vulcan Village.

Scattering rubbish

William Ailes, 78, of California was cited for scattering rubbish in the area of South Ridge and Pike Run Drive at about 4:40 p.m. Sept. 28. Police said he ate his lunch on the side of the road and dumped the trash from his vehicle.

Disorderly house

California Borough Police cited Austin P. Iverson, 21, of Brownsville with disorderly house after police were called to Vulcan Village, Apartment 254, at about 11:45 p.m. Sept. 14. Police said extremely loud music and the smell of marijuana was coming from the apartment.

One-vehicle accident

State police said driver Kevin D. Porterfield, 60, of Hunker failed to negotiate a curve and hit a utility pole on Armbrust Hecla Road near Udell Road at about 5:10 p.m. Sept. 25. No injuries were reported.

Pressure washer stolen

State police said someone stole a pressure washer from a company vehicle parked at Econo-Lodge between Oct. 2. Russel Knickley, 58, of West Virginia bought the pressure washer with company funds, police said.

Drug possession

State police said a 27-year-old Mount Pleasant man was found with heroin at 112 W. Byers Ave. at about 6 p.m. Sept. 23.

Two-vehicle crash

State police said driver John E. Bailey, 49, of Connellsville and a 17-year-old Connellsville girl side-swiped each other on a sharp curve on Mount Tabor Road near Camp Achievement Road at about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2. No injuries were reported. Bailey’s vehicle was disabled. The teen’s vehicle was driven from the scene. Bailey’s passengers were listed as Candy J. Bailey, 39, of Connellsville and a 16-year-old Connellsville boy.

Animal cruelty

State police are investigating a report of animal cruelty at 217 Chalk Hill Ohiopyle Road. A horse and pony boarded at the location were found to be underweight Sept. 15, according to police.
