One-vehicle accident
State police said driver Rebecca J. James, 35, of Connellsville may have been driving too fast for conditions on lost control of her Ford Mustang on a curve of University Drive at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday and hit a median near Bell Drive. She and her passenger, William D. Matthews, 38, of Connellsville were taken to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS with possible injuries. Police said they were not wearing seatbelts.

Terroristic threats
State police said a 16-year-old Uniontown boy threatened an 18-year-old Uniontown man on Chaffee Street at about noon Jan. 29. Charges were filed through juvenile court, according to police.

The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Eddie’s Tavern for reportedly failing to have a manager complete required training within 180 days.

The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Sam’s Restaurant and The Eagle’s Nest for reportedly for allegedly furnishing liquor to a 20 year old Feb. 8.

Child custody violation
State police said a child custody order was broken when a grandparent failed to return a child to the father, a 28-year-old Smock man, Sunday night.

Minor injury in crash
State police said driver Hamad Alseman, 20, of Morgantown, West Virginia may have been driving too fast for conditions on Springfield Pike at about 3 p.m. Sunday and lost control of his Volkswagon 4H on a curve, hitting an embankment and a large rock. He was treated on the scene by Fayette EMS for a cut to his left hand. His passenger, Meshari N. Alhouij, 21, of Morgantown reported no injuries.

Theft from vehicle
State police said someone stole a gun belonging to a 67-year-old Point Marion man that was in a vehicle at a Fallen Timbers Road residence sometime between 1 p.m. Nov. 12 ad 3 p.m. Feb. 11. The gun was a loaded Standard Arms Co. Larsin 9-mm with a chrome barrel and black handle, with a black nylon holster and magazine pouch with a total value of $180.

DUI
Daniel Jones, 23, of Connellsville was charged with DUI after a traffic stop near the intersection of South Grant Street and Redstone Street. He was reportedly found with a small amount of marijuana and another controlled substance, police said.
