Public drunkenness
Burt Boyd McGee, 54, of Burney, Calif. was charged with public drunkenness and similar misconduct after city police said they found him “extremely intoxicated” on March 1 after responding to an area of the bike trail near Allegheny Power. Police said they took him into custody and held him until he was sober.

Harassment
Ray Wirick, 28, of Somerset was charged with harassment after city police said he admitted to pushing someone, with officers having responded to a residence in the Gibson Terrace housing complex on March 7 for reports of an assault.

Harassment
Dean Allen Prinkey, 47, of Connellsville was charged with harassment after police reported he grabbed the jacket of one of several children playing in snow in the area of East South Street on March 3. The child broke free and reported the incident to his mother, city police said.
CONNELLSVILLE
Retail theft
Jerry Grimm, 46, of West Leisenring was charged with retail theft after city police said an employee at the Cash Saver grocery store observed him stealing tobacco from the store. Employees confronted Grimm, who was detained until police arrived, according to police, who responded to the store on March 2.
