Gun stolen

State police said someone threw a rock through a passenger window of a 1997 GMC Sierra parked along North Jefferson Street and stole a Springfield XD .40-caliber handgun sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 21. The gun had a 12-round magazine and hollow point bullets, and was valued at $440, police said.

Theft reported

State police said someone made three fraudulent ATM withdrawals and a fraudulent purchase on Feb. 4 and 5 using a debit card belonging to Joyce French, 77, of West Leisenring. A total of $180 was stolen, police said.

DUI

Brian Lowe, 53, of Uniontown was charged with four counts of DUI after he was pulled over for reportedly failing to stay in his lane on Mountain Road at about 2:30 a.m. Feb. 12. Police said he was driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

Man charged

Nathan E. Guty, 26, of New Salem was charged with stalking and simple assault for allegedly hitting his father, Arthur Guty, at 234 Tower Hill Road at about 7:30 a.m. Friday. Nathan Guty called state police saying his father was at his workplace and he wanted him removed because he has an active protection-from-abuse order against him. He called police a second time, and they said they were working to remove him. While an officer was talking with Arthur Guty, Nathan Guty reportedly forcibly took a bag of money from his father. Arthur Guty attempted to leave in his vehicle and Nathan Guty allegedly followed him outside and hit him in the face while he was trying to leave. Nathan Guty was arraigned on a $2,500 bond set by Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr.

Theft from vehicle

State police said someone stole a hard hat and a Garmin GPS from an unlocked vehicle parked at 110 North Main Street at about 5:15 p.m. Feb. 26.

Woman assaulted

State police said a 27-year-old woman was punched several times at a North Main Street residence at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
