Window damaged
State police said someone damaged a window of Brownsville Family Pharmacy between 1 p.m. Oct. 5 and 9:40 a.m. Oct. 7.

Scam reported
A 54-year-old Connellsville man reported he was scammed out of $2,400 to rent a room in Orlando, Florida through a rental app Oct. 2, according to state police. The man called himself Steve Goldberg. Police reminded the public to only deal with credible sources and to never send money through gift cards.

Burglary reported
State police said someone broke into a Monarch Road residence at stole a safe at about 7:40 a.m. Sept. 26. The person pried the safe open in the woods and took $800 and a prescription bottle of Oxycontin and fled the scene.

DUI
State police charged Joshua Hernley, 28, of Everson with DUI following a traffic stop at Old Route 119 and Alfrey Lane at about 12:05 a.m. Sept. 21.
FALLOWFIELD TWP.
Rear-end collision
State police said driver Frank Morro, 66, of Piscataway, New Jersey rear ended driver Janet Knight, 65, of California near mile marker 36.8 at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 5. No injuries were reported.
FAIRCHANCE
Theft from vehicles
State police said Libby Tedesco, 40, of Fairchance and Ariel Davis, 28, of Fairchance reported a wallet and cash was stolen from a car parked on Lyons Avenue at about 7:45 a.m. Sept. 28.

Burglary reported
State police said Daniel Miller, 37, of Fairchance kicked down a back door at a High Street home at about 2 a.m. Sept. 22 and chased Crystal Dennis, 40, of Fairchance. He was subdued by a 16-year-old boy. Lorreta Dennis, 38, of Fairchance is also listed as a victim. He was charged with burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief.

Hit and run
State police said someone hit a Buick Lacrosse which was parked in front of 2101 2nd Street Sept. 30 between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. A possible witness told police she saw a midsize pickup truck with loud exhaust leave the scene headed north east on Old Wynn Road.

Indecent exposure
State police charged Brennan Touchet, 29, of Greensburg with indecent exposure and open lewdness after a 28-year-old Ruffs Dale woman and a 29-year-old Latrobe woman reported he was touching himself in the Westmoreland Mall parking lot.

One-vehicle accident
State police said driver Russell W. Earhart, 44, of Herminie hit a deer at abotu 4 a.m. Oct. 4 on National Pike near Martin Road. He suffered a suspected minor injury, and his Ford Focus sustained major damage. He was taken to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS.

DUI
State police charged Andy Armagost, 36, of East Millsboro with DUI, recklessly endangering another person and endangering the welfare of children following a traffic stop at High Street and Brashear Avenue at about 1:10 a.m. Sept. 26. Police said he was driving with a 3-year-old boy.

Theft reported
State police said a 52-year-old Mount Pleasant man paid a person $8,000 for work that was never completed.

Simple assault
State police charged Hunter Hicks, 20, of Masontown and Timothy Wallace, 19, of McClellandtown with simple assault after they allegedly antagonized and hit a 17-year-old Carnichaels boy at a Woodside Oldframe Road address at about 2 a.m. Aug. 11.

iPhone found
State police said a black iPhone with a black Otterbox case was found in the area of Park Street at about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30.
SPRINGHILL TWP.
False identification
Chasity Forgen, 28, of Carmichaels was charged with false identification after she allegedly gave state police a false name while they were investigating a retail theft. Polcie said she had active warrants.

Drug possession
State police arrested a 27-year-old Uniontown woman on a warrant following a traffic stop where she was the passenger at 104 West Fayette Street at about 3:50 a.m. Sept. 10.
